The OnePlus Nord 3 was launched last July. It has been almost a year since then, and the company is finally looking to launch its successor. Recent sightings of the OnePlus Nord 4 on certification listings such as Geekbench, Camera FV 5, and Eurofins suggest an imminent launch.s
OnePlus Nord 4 key details emerge
The OnePlus Nord 4 with model number CPH2621 has surfaced on multiple certification databases. The phone’s Geekbench listing sheds light on its performance. The phone’s chipset is named Pineapple, and it has an ARM Adreno 732 GPU.
This essentially confirms that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset will power the OnePlus Nord 4. The model that went through the benchmark had 12GB of RAM. It managed to score 1875 points in single-core and 4934 points in multi-core tests. The listing also confirms the phone will run sAndroid 14 out of the box.
The Nord 4 will draw power from a 5,430mAh battery, per the Eurofins certification. OnePlus will most likely advertise it as 5,500mAh. Likewise, the phone will have 80W fast charging support.
The Camera FV 5 listing also revealed the OnePlus Nord 4’s camera specifications. According to the database, the primary camera will have both optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation. Though the exact image sensor is not known, it will have a 32.2mm2 sensing area and shoot a 12.6-megapixel image by default. It will be paired with an f/1.9 aperture and a 26.4mm focal length. Likewise, the selfie camera on the OnePlus Nord 4 will have a 15.9mm2 sensor, an f/2.4 aperture, and a 25.2mm focal length.
It has been speculated that the OnePlus Nord 4 could be a rebranded Ace 3V, which is exclusively available in the Chinese market. The phone was announced last month in China and could soon arrive in India and other markets under Nord branding.
