OnePlus has just launched the OnePlus 13s, a compact flagship phone, and it is now gearing up to unveil new Nord-branded models. Shown below is a screenshot from a recent tweet released by the brand. The image gives the first look at the Nord 5 series.
OnePlus Nord 5 series teaser released
As per reports, the Nord 5 series will include two models, the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. This time around, the brand may not launch the Nord CE 5 Lite as the successor to last year’s Nord CE 4 Lite.
The rumor mill has already leaked the key specifications of the Nord CE 5. It is speculated that the Nord 5 will be a tweaked version of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition available in China. While the Ace-branded phone features the Dimensity 9400e chip, a recently seen Geekbench listing of the Nord 5 revealed that it will arrive with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip onboard.
The Nord CE 5 has also appeared on Geekbench wit the Dimensity 8350 chipset. According to reports, the device will be equipped with a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel that supports an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. One of the major attractions of this device is that it will come equipped with a 7,100mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
The device will be equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel +8-megapixel dual-camera system. It will come preloaded with the OxygenOS-15-based Android 15. The topmost edition of the device may feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.
