Earlier this year, OnePlus released the OnePlus Nord CE 2 mid-range phone. Fresh details of its successor edition have been revealed by reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer in partnership with 91mobiles. The duo has shared the CAD renders of the Nord CE 3 to reveal its design.
The report claims that the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is inspired by the OnePlus X, which debuted several years ago. As can be seen, the Nord CE 3 will feature a punch-hole display on the front. The edges of the device are flat with volume buttons on the left and a power key integrated with a fingerprint reader on the right.
The rear shell of the Nord CE 3 has two round-shaped modules housing a triple camera setup and an LED flash. The company’s logo is also available on the phone’s back. A microphone is available on the topside of the device, whereas its bottom features a speaker grille, a USB-C port, and a microphone.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Specifications (Rumored)
According to a previous leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will come equipped with a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen that will offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. To recall, the Nord CE 2 featured an AMOLED display. The Snapdragon 695 CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage are said to power the next Nord CE 3.
The Nord CE 3 will run on an OxygenOS-based Android 13 OS. The rear camera setup will have a 108-megapixel primary sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses. It will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Instead of an in-screen unit, the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Finally, a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging capabilities is believed to be included in the OnePlus Nord CE 3. It is likely to launch in Q1 2023.
