Recently, we’d already heard about the existence of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G which was scheduled for an imminent launch.
Now, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has officially confirmed to TechRadar that the device is indeed coming to the Indian and European market, and will in fact be announced on June 10th. The “CE” branding within it’s moniker is also said to be known as “Core Edition” according to Lau.
Adding on, he also confirmed about another upcoming smartphone known as the OnePlus Nord N200 5G which will be available in both U.S. and Canada on a later date.
Coming back to the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, we’d already learned that the device will be largely similar to last year’s OnePlus Nord N10 5G in terms of design – except for some minor differences.
Firstly, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is expected to arrive with a triple-camera setup at the back, instead of a quad-camera setup that what we saw on the OnePlus Nord N10.
Secondly, its rear-mounted fingerprint scanner also seems to be shifted to the right side of the device which now doubles up as a power button.
