OnePlus is busy teasing the arrival of its OnePlus Nord mid-range phone. A report from the previous month had claimed that the smartphone will debut on July 10. A leaked invite that reportedly appeared on Amazon India’s microsite for OnePlus Nord revealed that the device will be launching on July 21. The page has been taken down.
The image that had mentioned the July 21 launch had also mentioned that the device will be made through Augmented Reality (AR). Through its Instagram account, OnePlus also revealed the retail package of the device. The handset will be made available in a black-colored box with cyan accents. Another image that shows two people standing on either sides of the retail package suggests its sturdiness.
The OnePlus Nord will be sporting a neat and minimalistic design. A recently teased image by OnePlus showed the OnePlus Nord sporting a quad-camera setup on its back.
Recently, a glimpse of the phone’s front was seen in one of the videos released by the company. It revealed that the phone is equipped with a pill-shaped punch-hole. Rumors have it that it has a 32-megapixel main selfie camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It could be housing a 6.55-inch S-AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support.
The OnePlus Nord is powered by Snapdragon 765G. It could be coming with a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The device could be priced under $500.
