In June, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Pad Pro tablet in China. The tablet came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, reveals that the brand is now working on a non-Pro tablet for the Chinese market. Here’s a look at the leaked specs of the device.
OnePlus Pad specifications (rumored)
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Pad will come equipped with an 11.6-inch LCD panel that offers a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. For photography, the device will be equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The OnePlus Pad is tipped to feature the Dimensity 8350 chipset. It is expected to pack a 9,520mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. These specs suggest that the OnePlus Pad will be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 3, which debuted with the same specs recently in China.
There is no information about the launch timeframe for the OnePlus Pad. The brand will be holding a launch event this month (December) to announce the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro sub-flagship phones. It is likely that the OnePlus Pad tablet may go official alongside the Ace 5 series.
As far as the new Ace series is concerned, the Ace 5 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Ace 5 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite. These phones will rival the likes of the Redmi K80 series, the iQOO Neo 10 series, and the Realme Neo 7 in China.
