OnePlus is said to be working on multiple phones for the Chinese market. While the brand is expected to announce the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 later this month, it is also rumoured to introduce a new Turbo lineup. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the battery size of all three phones.
OnePlus Turbo phone battery size tipped
In the above leak, the tipster has mentioned dual-cell battery capacities for three OnePlus smartphones. It can be said based on recent reports that the OnePlus 15 will pack a 7,300mAh battery and the Ace 6 will have a bigger 7,800mAh battery.
The remaining OnePlus phone mentioned with a 7,650mAh battery in the leak seems to be the rumoured OnePlus Turbo phone, which is expected to launch before the end of this year in China.
OnePlus Turbo expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 last month. This chip powers all the major flagship phones like the Xiaomi 17 series, Honor Magic 8 series, iQOO 15, OnePlus 15, Realme GT 8 Pro, and so on. Apart from this, the US-based chipmaker has also confirmed the existence of a new chip called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
According to Qualcomm, this chip includes a 3.8GHz prime core and 3.32GHz performance cores. It is also confirmed to feature a next-generation Adreno GPU, a powerful Hexagon NPU, and a superior AI-ISP-powered camera.
OnePlus’ China division has already confirmed that it will be the first brand to launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. Since this chip neither powers the OnePlus 15 nor the Ace 6, it is expected to be first seen on the OnePlus Turbo.
