OnePlus ventured into the foldable market in 2023 by announcing the OnePlus Open. Restricted to markets such as the US, Europe, and India, the OnePlus Open arrived as a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N3, subsequently launching in other markets such as China and Southeast Asia. A new leak reveals the brand will launch its first flip phone in 2025.
OnePlus Flip phone launch timeframe
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the existence of OnePlus’ first flip phone. The leak reveals that the device is tentatively scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2025. Unfortunately, there is no information about the specifications of the device.
If the OnePlus flip phone exists, it is likely the brand could also be working on the Find N5 Flip. It remains to be seen whether the Find N5 Flip remains exclusive to China and the South East Asian markets and the OnePlus Flip releases in other regions.
To recall, the Find N3 Flip features a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with support for FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 9200 chip, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. It has a 4310mAh battery eith 44W fast charging.
The N3 Flip has a 32-megapixel camera on the front. On the back, it has an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel primary camera, a48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
