Although the OPPO A15 is still pretty fresh from the oven, but that doesn’t stops OPPO from launching an updated model known as the OPPO A15s in the Indian market today.
Except for a few minor changes which include a ramped up memory variant and a slightly better selfie camera, the rest of the specs remain largely unchanged.
The OPPO A15s is built around a 6.52-inches LCD display that brings along a modest HD+ screen resolution. It retains the same dewdrop-notch design at the front to accommodate its 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the OPPO A15s arrives with a squarish camera housing that resembles what we’d saw on the OPPO F17 Pro. The three cameras at the back will include a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels bokeh lens.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset which will be paired alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which supports further memory expansion via a microSD card.
Keeping its lights on will be a 4,230mAh battery that carries support for 10W standard charging. Other than that, it also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As usual, it’ll l boot on the ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS.
In the Indian market, the OPPO A15s is currently priced at INR11,490 (US$156) for its sole 4GB+64GB model.
