Back in March this year, OPPO announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the OPPO A1. Right now, a mysterious handset with model number CPH1925 had been certified by the Thai National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC).
According to reports, the CPH1925 will be none other than the new family member of the OPPO A1 which will most likely be coming with the A1s moniker. As seen above, a number of OPPO A1s live shots had also been listed on the NBTC’s website which reveal the entire design of the smartphone.
Similar to the OPPO A1, the upcoming A1s is expected to be another entry-level handset which commands an affordable price tag of below S$200. Unlike the current OPPO A1, the A1s will be featuring a dual-camera setup this time round along with a refreshed design for both its front and rear chassis. On its front panel, the A1s had opted for a teardrop design to house its selfie camera which allows it to come with considerably lesser bezels on the forehead.
Since there is no visible fingerprint sensor mounted on the OPPO A1s, it will probably be absent on this upcoming handset as we’re pretty certain that such budget smartphone will not be coming with any under display fingerprint sensor.
If you’re looking for a budget smartphone, then you may want to consider waiting for the OPPO A1s.
