The Oppo A3 Pro is a durability-focused smartphone that will launch on April 12 in China. Even before its official unveiling, it had surpassed its predecessor in pre-orders. So far, the phone has racked up over 132,500 orders across multiple retailer platforms. Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo A3 Pro has received 217% more reservations than its previous model, the Oppo A2 Pro, announced in September last year.
The Oppo A3 Pro is listed on Oppo’s official e-store, JD Mall, Tmall, and Pinduoduo. It is also available through offline retail stores. Oppo provides the phone with three memory configurations. The base model features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The high-end model has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Likewise, there is a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as an intermediate option. Buyers have three colorways to choose from: Azure, Distant Mountain Blue, and Yunjim Powder. One can reserve up to 5 units at maximum, and Oppo is promising a free pair of earbuds for each reservation.
Oppo A3 Pro features
Oppo A3 Pro is set to become the first smartphone with all three IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. Thus, Oppo is calling it a ‘Full Level Waterproof” smartphone. It will also be the first phone to feature Oppo’s Crystal Shield glass for the back panel, promising 160% better durability. It will be available in the Azure (Sky Blue) color variant.
The rest of the models will feature flexible and dust-resistant leather back panels. Moreover, Oppo says the flagship-level display protection on the A3 Pro makes it 180% more durable than its predecessor. The phone has already bagged SGS and Chinese military certification for durability.

As for the specifications, the Oppo A3 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with an optical fingerprint scanner underneath. It will be powered by the Dimensity 7050 processor and will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.The camera duo at the back will consist of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth lens. There will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
