In August, OPPO announced the OPPO A53 smartphone in markets like Indonesia and India. The same was rebranded as the OPPO A53 in China. Fresh information reveals that the company is now gearing up to launch the OPPO A53 5G in the homeland.
OPPO A53 5G Price and Release Date (Rumored)
The China Telecom listing of the upcoming OPPO A53 5G reveals that its 4 GB RAM variant will be priced at 1,599 Yuan ($243) and its 6 GB RAM model will cost 1,799 Yuan ($274). It is advisable to digest the pricing information with a grain of salt as the A53 5G is yet to launch. The handset is expected to arrive in Chinese markets on Dec. 1. It will come in three colors like Streamer Purple, Lake Green, and Secret Night Black.
OPPO A53 5G Specifications (Rumored)
The OPPO A53 5G that has a model number is PECT30 / PECM30 was recently at TENAA with all its specifications. The handset is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a punch-hole design that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO A53 5G is powered by the MTM6853V MediaTek chipset, which is the Dimensity 720 chipset. The 4 GB and 6 GB RAM editions of the smartphone are expected to arrive with an internal storage of 128 GB. It has a microSD card slot for more storage. It is loaded with Android 10 OS and it has a 3,945mAh rated battery.
The front camera configuration seems to be incorrectly mentioned in the China Telecom listing. Its TENAA appearance revealed that it has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The backside of the phone has a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup placed inside a squarish camera module.
