OPPO has quietly announced a new mid-ranger smartphone known as the OPPO A54 5G in the Japanese market. Based on its design and specs, the OPPO A54 5G do share a huge similarities as the OPPO A93 5G which was launched in the Chinese market last month.
Upfront, the OPPO A54 5G is built around a 6.5-inches LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and comes with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner that houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Around the back of the device, there’s a rectangular camera island which features a quad-camera system comprising of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels shooter for depth and macro information.
Under the hood, the OPPO A54 5G is powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 480 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping its lights on will be a massive 5,000mAh battery which is capable of supporting hours on usage on the go. As usual, the device will be shipped with the latest ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box. Aside from that, there’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
Although the device had already been made official in Japan, but it will only be available for purchase in June later this year.
