After launching the OPPO A55 4G and A55 5G devices, OPPO is now reportedly working on a new follow-up model known as the OPPO A55s which has been spotted on Geekbench bearing the model number CPH2309.
This model will apparently a 5G device that’s powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480 chipset according to the information which was listed on Geekbench. Along with that, there will also be 4GB worth of RAM in the memory department which is likely to be paired with at least 128GB built-in storage.
Although the rest of the specs weren’t revealed, but we do expect the phone to share largely similar specs as the OPPO A55 5G. Just a quick recap, the OPPO A55 5G features a LCD display upfront that offers a HD+ screen resolution and a 60Hz standard refresh rate.
For photography, the OPPO A55 5G relies on a triple-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels portrait lens. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels selfie camera upfront.
To keep its lights on, the OPPO A55 5G is fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with 10W standard charging. In terms of software, the device boots on the new ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. Other than that, it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack.
