Last month, OPPO announced the A57 5G smartphone in the Chinese market which was powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset. One month down the road, the company is now back with a new 4G variant that comes with a different chipset along with a bumped up charging speed.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new OPPO A57 4G features a 6.56” LCD display which features a HD+ screen resolution as well as 60Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
As for photography, the OPPO A57 4G relies on a dual-camera array comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits. Likewise, there’s also a LED flash to help with shooting under low-light environment.
Under the hood, the OPPO A57 4G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset which will be paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the OPPO A57 4G is backed by a large 5,000mAh power supply that carries support for 33W fast-charging. Software-wise, the device will be shipped with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Glowing Black and Glowing Green. In the Thai market, the OPPO A57 4G is priced at 5,499 Baht (US$160) for it’s 3GB+64GB variant.
