Earlier this month, we’d already learned about the existence of an upcoming OPPO smartphone known as the OPPO A74 after its renders made their way to the public ahead of its official launch. This device, according to earlier reports, is expected to be available in both 4G and 5G variants.
Today, courtesy of its Geekbench 5 listing, we now finally know that its 5G variant will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480 chipset just like the upcoming Nokia X10 and X20 smartphones. Similarly, it will also feature 6GB RAM and the latest Android 11 OS out of the box.
In terms of performance, the same listing revealed that the OPPO A74 5G achieved a pretty decent score of 523 points and 1,758 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores benchmark tests.
Other than that, we’d also heard from previous reports that the OPPO A74 has an overall dimension measuring 169.2 x 74.7 x 8.4 mm and weighs around 190 grams. Similarly, it also sports a 48MP triple-camera setup around the back and is equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
