OPPO has officially announced a new A series smartphone in the European market known as the OPPO A94 5G. Despite the new moniker, this device is in fact a rebranded model of the OPPO Reno5 Z which debuted in Singapore earlier this month.
For starter, the OPPO A94 5G features a 6.4-inches AMOLED hole-punch display which offers FHD+ screen resolution. On top of that, it also has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as an 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Around the back, the OPPO A94 5G sports a rectangular camera island that brings along a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
The device is powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep its light on, it draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 flash charging support. On the software-side, it runs on the latest ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS. Other than that, there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as NFC and Bluetooth 5.1 support.
In terms of pricing, the OPPO A94 5G is priced at €359 (US$430) for its sole 8GB+128GB model.
