In March, an OPPO phone with model number PFTM10 was certified by the TENAA and 3C authorities of China. Now the unannounced device is listed in the product library of China Telecom. The listing shows that the phone that it will be called the OPPO A97 5G when it comes out.

The OPPO A97 5G measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 7.99mm and weighs around 190 grams. It will arrive with a 6.56-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT6833P chip, which is nothing but the Dimensity 810 SoC.
The device has 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage. It will be packed with a 5,000mAh battery. As per the 3C listing of the device, it may arrive with support for 33W fast charging. It will arrive with the Android 12 OS and ColorOS UI preinstalled.
The A97 5G will feature an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The back panel of the device will have a 48-megapixel main snapper and a 2-megapixel depth/macro camera. It also features a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
OPPO A97 5G Price and Availability
According to the China Telecom listing, the OPPO A97 5G will be released in China on July 15. It will come in two variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants may cost 2,099 Yuan and 2,299 Yuan, respectively. It will come in three colors, such as Quite Night Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Colourful Cherry Blossom.
