Back in May this year, OPPO announces the OPPO A9x mid-ranger smartphone which sports a slightly upgraded specs as compared to its A9 sibling.
Currently, the device is only available in a single 6GB+128GB model but will soon have a higher-end model with 8GB+128GB memory configuration added to the lineup. This new variant had already been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority so we reckon it to be available for purchase soon.
OPPO A9X Specifications
The OPPO A9x comes with a 6.53-inches display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution and has a 19.5:9 tall screen aspect ratio. The device is driven by an octa-core MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC alongside 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage space in its memory compartment.
Camera-wise, the OPPO A9x comes equipped with a dual-camera setup on its rear chassis which comprise of a 48MP (f/1.7 aperture) main snapper and a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. On its front panel, there is also a teardrop selfie camera which contains a 16MP sensor. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as an additional security feature for its users.
In terms of software, the OPPO A9x runs on the ColorOS 6 atop the Android 9.0 Pie OS. A massive 4,020mAh non-removable battery is available under the hood to support hours of entertainment on the go. There are two color options to choose from, namely Meteorite Black and Ice Jade White.
