As scheduled, OPPO has officially announced the OPPO F19 smartphone in the Indian market which will be available through Amazon India at just INR18,900 (US$286) for its sole 6GB+128GB variant. This will be the third model within the new F19 series lineup which also include the higher-end OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ devices.
For starter, the OPPO F19 features a 6.43” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, standard 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. On top of that, it also sports an impressive 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
Around the back of the device, there’s a rectangular camera housing which brings along a triple-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter and a pair of 2 megapixels sensor for macro and depth information. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels camera upfront.
Under the hood, the OPPO F19 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The device draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W flash charging. As usual, it’ll be shipped with the latest ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
