Ahead of the upcoming OPPO Find X3 series global launch event, OPPO has launched a pair of mid-ranger smartphones known as the OPPO F19 and F19 Pro in the Indian market. These devices, as their name suggest, are successor to last year’s F17 series smartphones.
OPPO F19 Pro+
Starting with the higher-end model, the OPPO F19 Pro+ features a 6.4-inches AMOLED hole-punch display which offers FHD+ screen resolution. On top of that, it also has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as an 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Around the back, the OPPO F19 Pro+ has a squarish camera island that brings along a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The OPPO F19 Pro+ is backed 4,500mAh battery with 50W flash charging support. As usual, the device runs on the latest ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS. In the Indian market, the device is priced at INR25,990 (US$355) for its sole 8GB+128GB model.
OPPO F19 Pro
Coming to the more affordable OPPO F19 Pro, this device shares largely similar specs as the F19 Pro+ apart from the difference in their underlying chipset and flash charging speed.
Unlike the OPPO F19 Pro+, the F19 Pro is powered by a toned-down MediaTek Helio P95 chipset which lacks 5G support. Likewise, it also adopted a slightly slower 30W VOOC charging instead of the 50W flash charging on the F19 Pro+.
Pricing-wise, the OPPO F19 Pro will set you back by INR21,490 (US$293) and INR23,490 (US$321) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
