Last week, we’d seen an alleged promo poster of the upcoming OPPO F19 smartphone series which confirmed the existence of the OPPO F19 and F19 Pro+. Although we are likely to see a vanilla OPPO F19, but the device may not be launched alongside the F19 Pro and F19 Pro+.
Right now, more information on the OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ had surfaced, giving us a heads-up on what to expect from these upcoming mid-ranger smartphones.
OPPO F19 Pro+
For the higher-end OPPO F19 Pro+, the device is expected to sport a 6.4-inches AMOLED hole-punch display upfront. Although there isn’t any information pertaining to its screen resolution, but its expected to offer FHD+ resolution.
Under the hood, the OPPO F19 Pro+ is said to be powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
In the camera department, there will be a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
To keep its lights on, there’s a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. Its expected to be priced below INR25,000 (US$340) in the Indian market.
OPPO F19 Pro
As for the more affordable OPPO F19 Pro, it also comes with a 6.4-inches AMOLED hole-punch display which should also feature FHD+ resolution. Unlike the Pro+ variant, the OPPO F19 Pro settles for a slightly toned-down Helio P95 chipset which means it’ll not be able to support 5G connectivity.
For photography, the phone relies on a quad-camera system lead by a 48 megapixels primary shooter along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Selfie-wise, there will be a 16 megapixels upfront as well.
Though the OPPO F17 Pro retains the same 30W fast-charging support, but its fitted with a slightly smaller 4,310mAh battery. In the Indian market, the device is tipped to be priced under INR20,000 (US$272) for its 6GB+128GB variant.
