OPPO has officially confirmed that the company will be launching a new F series smartphone dubbed as the OPPO F19s on September 27th later this month. Despite the new moniker, the OPPO F19s actually shares the same specs as the OPPO F19, except it comes in two new color variants – Black and Gold.
As such, we can expect to be greeted by the same 6.43” AMOLED display that comes with a FHD+ screen resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calls.
At the back of the phone, it’s triple-cam setup will also retains the 48 megapixels main camera which will be assisted by a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the OPPO F19s is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset which is likely to be coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the OPPO F19s draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which brings support for 33W fast-charging. The phone as usual, is expected to be shipped with ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS. In India, the device is tipped to carry a launch price of INR19,990 (US$270).
