Oppo F5 is the newest “Selfie Expert” smartphone from the company. It has arrived as an improved version of Oppo F3 that was unveiled earlier in this year. The smartphone was unveiled in Philippines in the previous week.
Oppo F5 Specifications and Features
The Oppo F5 has a metal unibody chassis and it comes in colors like gold and black. It features a 6-inch LTPS TFT display that carries support for FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels to deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9. Even though the Oppo F3 Plus has a 6-inch display, it is a taller device than Oppo F5. The Oppo F3 Plus measures 163.6 in length whereas the Oppo F5 featuring the same-sized display measures 156.5 in length.
The MediaTek Helio P23 chipset powers the phone. It comes in two options such as: 4 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. It also includes a microSD card slot. It has a 3,200mAh battery. The handset is running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat that is modified with ColorOS 3.2.
There is f/2.0 aperture 20-megapixel AI driven front-facing camera that can enhance selfie shots automatically. On the rear of the Oppo F5 is the f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel sensor.
Oppo F5 Pricing and Availability
The pre-orders of Oppo F5 has started in Philippines with a starting price of 15,990 PHP (~$310). The 4 GB RAM variant of Oppo F5 comes in gold and black colors whereas the 6 GB RAM model can be availed in red color.
