OPPO has confirmed that it will be debuting the OPPO F9 smartphone on Aug. 15. Vietnam and Philippines are the first two markets to receive the OPPO F9 smartphone. The pricing for the Vietnamese market has been also been revealed.
The OPPO F9 will be available on pre-orders starting from Aug. 15 in Vietnam. It will be hitting the market by Aug. 24. It will be carrying a price tag of VND 8 million ($345). Rumors have it that the same smartphone will be debuting in India as OPPO F9 Pro.
The OPPO F9 features a 6.3-inch display that supports 2280 x 1080 pixels. It will be the first phone from the company to arrive with waterdrop screen which means it will be sporting a smaller notch than the other notched phones available in the market. The triangle-shaped notch will be big enough to house the 25-megapixel selfie camera.
It may sport 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. Recent leaks have revealed that MediaTek Helio P60 will be present under the hood of the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM. It will be arriving with a native storage of 64 GB. The 3,500mAh battery of the phone will be enabled with support for VOOC fast charging that will allow it to gain 2 hours of battery life by charging it for only 5 minutes. The handset will be coming in colors like Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple.
