Oppo is reportedly working on its next foldable phone, the Oppo Find N5. Several reports have claimed that the N5 is slated for Q1 2025 announcement in China. For the past few weeks, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has been consistently leaking key details about Oppo’s upcoming foldable phone. Today, he published a new Weibo post to confirm to reveal a few more details about the device.
Oppo Find N5 key details leaked
According to the leaker, the upcoming Find N5 foldable phone prototype showcases a design that largely retains the look of its predecessor, but with a larger screen. Its rear camera module is centrally positioned in a circular layout, featuring a powerful camera system: a 50-megapixel main Hasselblad-tuned sensor, paired with two additional 50-megapixel cameras, including a 3x periscope telephoto lens.
The device houses a dual-cell battery with a combined rated capacity of around 5,565mAh (2460+3105mAh) and supports wireless charging. The typical value of the battery could be around 5,700mAh. Powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and equipped with a custom USB-C port, the Find N5 is designed to be exceptionally slim and packed with all essential flagship features.
The tipster has previously claimed that the Find N5’s screen will support a 2K+ resolution and its thickness will be around 9.x mm when folded. Like the Find X8 series, it will come preloaded with ColorOS 15-based Android 15 and support magnetic wireless charging. The other details of the device are under wraps.
It is speculated that the Oppo Find N5’s release will be limited to China and Southeast Asian markets. In other regions, the same device is expected to get rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
