Oppo Find N5’s thin design teased again; May sport OnePlus 13-inspired camera module

Oppo recently confirmed that the Oppo Find N5 will be unveiled in China in February. Yesterday, it released the first teaser of the phone and claimed that it will arrive as the world’s thinnest foldable phone. The teaser revealed that its thickness will be less than that of a standard pencil. Today, Oppo Find Product Manager Zhou Yibao released a Weibo video to tease the Find N5’s slim profile once again.

Oppo Find N5 may measure around 4mm in unfolded state

In the video, Yibao compares the thickness of the OPPO Find N5 in its unfolded state, noting that it is slightly thicker than four ID cards but thinner than five. Additionally, Yibao compares the thickness of the N5 to two 1-Yuan coins.

Considering that an ID card is approximately 1mm thick and a 1-Yuan coin is around 2mm, the estimated single-side thickness of the OPPO Find N5 is about 4mm, with its folded thickness likely being less than 9mm.

To recall, the Find N3 measures 5.8mm and 11.7mm in the unfolded and folded states, respectively. The slimmest foldable phone currently on the market is the Honor Magic V3, which measures 9.2mm when folded and 4.35mm when unfolded. This makes it the world’s thinnest foldable phone at the moment.

OnePlus 13-inspired camera module

According to tipster Experience More, the Find N5 features a rear-facing round camera module layout inspired by the OnePlus 13. The flash is located in the bottom-right corner, while the square-shaped periscope telephoto lens is positioned in the top-left. Additionally, the brand has reduced the size of the camera bump.
