OPPO Find X2 global launch will be pushed back to March

Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, the highly anticipated Mobile World Congress 2020 trade show held in Barcelona had been cancelled. As such, some of the scheduled smartphone launches were inadvertently affected as well.

OPPO FInd X2 Launch Event
OPPO’s February 22nd launch event will be cancelled

OPPO is one of the many smartphone OEMs which were affected by the sudden pull out. Previously, the company had confirmed that they will be holding a global launch event for their upcoming OPPO Find X2 flagship on February 22nd at the same premise.

However, due to the changes in plan, the company has announced that the official launch of the OPPO Find X2 will be pushed back to March. It is likely that the company will be holding an online launch event, similar to what Xiaomi had done for their latest Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagships.

Although many were left disappointed by the delay of smartphone launches, but its certainly more important for us to consider the safety of the participants.

For the next few days, we can expect to hear more from other smartphone OEMs as well. We will definitely keep you updated along the way.
