Even before the OPPO Reno3 series smartphones was unveiled, there are already fresh report confirming that the company’s next flagship – OPPO Find X2 – will be arriving in Q1 2020.
This device will be driven by the newly announced Snapdragon 865 SoC and is expected to be the company’s first flagship of the year. According to GSMArena, the Find X2 will have a huge emphasize on the device’s display this time round. This means it will probably come with better screen resolution, refresh rates, color saturation, as well as higher dynamic range.
Moreover, the Find X2 is also said to come with Sony’s latest “pixel omnidirectional PDAF technology” in it’s camera compartment. This points towards a superior camera performance for the upcoming device as well.
Since the Find X2 is driven by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, it will definitely be able to support 5G connectivity. However, there will be a need for an external X55 5G modem since the chip doesn’t has an integrated modem under the hood.
Besides the OPPO Find X2, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Redmi K30 Pro are some other Snapdragon 865-driven smartphone which are expected to be made official during the same time frame.
