Recent reports have revealed that OPPO will be launching the Find X3 series of smartphones in the coming month. The lineup is speculated to include devices like the Find X3, Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Lite, and Find X3 Neo. Multiple reports have revealed that the Find X3 Pro will be a Snapdragon 888 SoC powered flagship phone. The Find X3 Lite and X3 Neo are expected to arrive as rebranded versions of the OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G phones that debuted in China in December. Fresh information suggests that the Find X3 will be driven by the Snapdragon 870.
Today, a tipster has shared a couple of screenshots that reveal that the Find X3’s model number is PEDM00 and it has Snapdragon 870 chipset. In the screengrab of AIDA64 benchmarks, the smartphone can be seen with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a Qualcomm chipset which is mentioned with ‘kona’ codename.
The second screenshot of the AnTuTu app running on the OPPO PEDM00 smartphone shows the SoC mentioned with sm8250 model number and Adreno 650 graphics. The screenshot has a gap at the upper-left corner which indicates that the device features a punch-hole screen. It further reveals that its display supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It appears that one of the cameras of the device is of 12.6-megapixel.
The codename and the model number of the chipset suggested that the PEDM00 phone could be featuring the Snapdragon 865. However, the third image, which seems to show the About Phone page of the PEDM000 phone, states the name of the device as OPPO Find X3 and it also mentions its chipset as Snapdragon 870.
The same amount of RAM and storage can be seen mentioned in the third screengrab. It further states that the phone boots to ColorOS 11.2 based Android 11 OS.
