Following the successful launch of the OPPO Find X2 flagship series earlier this year, OPPO is now gearing up on the launch of the company’s next-generation flagship series which is expected to debut as the OPPO Find X3 series.
Though we’re still around two to three months from its official launch event, but well-accredited leaker Evan Blass has shared some insights on what we can expect to see from the highest-end OPPO Find X3 Pro model.
According to Blass, the upcoming Find X3 Pro will be retaining a curve design on both the front and rear panels much like the current OPPO Find X2 Pro (Review). It will however, be slightly thinner with a slim profile that sits around 8mm and weighs lighter at 190 grams.
These tiny bits of details are enough to hint that the Find X3 Pro will be even sleeker than the current one. Moving on, he also noted that the device will be offered in three colorways including Black, Blue and White.
Unsurprising, the Find X3 Pro will continue to build upon a state-of-the-art front display which is said to measure 6.7-inches diagonally, boasting a rich 1440 x 3216 pixels screen resolution and a 10-bit color depth to ensure colors are true to life.
On top of that, it also features an advanced adaptatively refresh rate which will automatically switch between 10Hz to 120Hz based on the onscreen contents to lengthen battery life.
In terms of photography, the OPPO Find X3 Pro will sport a quad camera system which will be greatly different from the Find X2 Pro’s triple camera setup. These cameras will include a pair of 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 image sensors for its primary shooter and ultra-wide camera, as well as a 13 megapixels telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 3 megapixels macro camera.
Interestingly, the 3 megapixels macro camera is expected to be one of the headlining features according to Blass who claimed that the macro camera is capable of achieving 25x zoom factor and has lights circling around the lens to provide illumination for close-up subjects. Certainly, its really exciting to see how this pans out in real life.
Expectedly, the OPPO Find X3 Pro will be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset which is slated to be powering the majority of Android flagship phones next year. Therefore, the device will readily support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
Rounding out the device will be a 4,500mAh battery that comes with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging support – the same as the OPPO Find X2 Pro. As such, it is unlikely that the company’s next generation 125W flash charging technology will be present on the Find X3 Pro.
