Yesterday, an OPPO phone with a PEDM00 model number was spotted at multiple benchmarking platforms with Snapdragon 870. The same phone has popped at the Geekbench benchmarking platform. It appears that the company could be internally testing its performance on different benchmarking platforms before making it official in the coming month.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the OPPO PEDM00 smartphone has 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS. It is fueled by a Qualcomm chipset that is mentioned with ‘kona’ codename and a base frequency of 1.80GHz. In the single-core test of Geekbench, the OPPO PEDM00 scored 4280 points and it recorded a score of 12843 in the multi-core test.
It is known that the base frequency of the Snapdragon 870 is identical to the Snapdragon 865 SoC from last year. Also, it has the same codename and same Adreno 650 graphics. As it is known, the Snapdragon 870 SoC is an upgraded version of the SD865 that can offer up to 3.2GHz clocking speeds. In comparison, the SD865 can clock up to 2.84GHz.
The other benchmark listings of the OPPO Find X3 have revealed that it will be sporting a punch-hole screen that will produce a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, a 12.6-megapixe camera sensor, 256 GB of built-in storage, and ColorOS v11.2 based Android 11 OS.
The Find X3 is expected to launch with phones like Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, and Find X3 Lite in March. The Snapdragon 888 SoC will fuel the Find X3 Pro, whereas the Find Neo and Lite will be rebranded versions of China’s Reno5 Pro 5G and Reno5 5G, respectively.
