The early rumors of the OPPO Find X5 series had revealed that it will include a device powered by the Dimensity 9000. However, leaked specs of the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro that was leaked by Winfuture.de revealed that these devices will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. A leaked shot of the Find X5 series specs sheet for China is now doing rounds on Weibo. It suggests that the company may announce the Dimensity 9000 variant of the Find X5 Pro through the upcoming Feb. 24 launch event in China.
OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition Specifications (Rumored)
As can be seen in the specs sheet leak below, the Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition features the Dimensity 9000 chipset, and a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 1.0 display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Find X5 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED QHD+ screen with LTPO 2.0 technology.
While Snapdragon variant will come in multiple variants such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, the Dimensity edition may come in a single version offering 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The MariSilicon NPU, which will be available on the Snapdragon model, might be absent on its Dimensity variant.
For selfies, it will feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. Its rear camera unit will house an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera.
The OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity edition will house a 5,000mAh battery. It will come with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Lastly, it will come equipped with an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis. It is unclear whether the Dimensity variant will remain exclusive to China.
