It’s no longer a secret that OPPO will soon be launching it’s next-generation’s Find X5 series smartphones which according to past reports, should take place somewhere in the following month.
Today, fresh information from a reputable Chinese leaker who goes by the handle Digital Chat Station has given us a (slightly) more accurate time frame of the Find X5 series’ launch which is now tipped to be held in late February.
Just in case anyone might have missed out, DCS was also the same leaker who’d recently revealed several key details pertaining to the vanilla OPPO Find X5 model. To recap, he noted that the OPPO Find X5 would features a 6.7” AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display that offers a QHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
On the imaging front, the OPPO Find X5 is touted to sport a triple-camera unit comprising of a pair of 50 megapixels cameras and a 13 megapixels camera. The specific purpose for each of the sensor however wasn’t disclosed at the moment. Nonetheless, he did told us that the phone will also come with a 32 megapixels front-facing camera to handle selfie and video calls.
Unlike the OPPO Find X5 Pro which had already been confirmed to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform, the vanilla model was claimed to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset instead.
Other than that, we can also expect the Find X5 to be fitted with a 5,000mAh battery with a vastly upgraded 80W wired charging and 55W wireless charging support if what he tipped were indeed accurate.
