OPPO Find X6, X6 Pro Charging Capabilities, IP Ratings Revealed

OPPO is likely to launch the Find X6 series of smartphones on March 21 in China. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently leaking new details of the Find X6 and X6 Pro. In the latest leak, the tipster has revealed the charging capabilities and IP ratings of both models.

The source says that the Find X6 series will have the MariSilicon X ISP, Hasselblad camera optimizations, an X-axis linear motor, and an IR blaster. A previous leak claimed that the X6 will have the first-generation MariSilicon X IPS, whereas the Pro variant may feature the newer X2 ISP.

The leak further states that the Find X6 will support 80W fast charging and come with an IP54-rated chassis. The Find X6 Pro, on the other hand, will offer 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Find X6 Pro will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Reports have claimed that the Find X6 will come in Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 chipset variants. However, newer reports have revealed that the SD8+G1 variant has been axed. Hence, the vanilla Find X6 will feature the D9200 chip.

OPPO is yet to confirm the Find X6 series launch date. However, some unconfirmed reports state that the Find X6 and X6 Pro will be unveiled on March 21 in the Chinese market. The company is also expected to unveil the OPPO Pad 2 tablet at the same event. While there is no confirmation on the global launch of these devices, the company is expected to release the X6 duo in markets outside of China. However, Pad 2 may remain exclusive to the home market.
