Recent reports have revealed that the OPPO Find X7 Pro will have an octagonal camera module. However, leaker Digital Chat Station has maintained that it will have a round camera module like its predecessor. Today, he shared a leaked schematic of the smartphone to showcase its front and rear design. The leaker had previously shared the schematic in October, and now he has shared a slightly modified version of it.
OPPO Find X7 Pro design
As can be seen above, the OPPO Find X7 Pro has a curved-edge OLED panel, with the right edge having a volume rocker and a power button. The left edge seems to be equipped with an alert slider.
The back panel of the device has a round camera module, which houses a quad-camera system. The LED flash is located outside the camera module, towards the left corner, to be precise.
As can be seen, the two rectangular camera modules suggest that the Find X7 Pro will arrive as the world’s first smartphone with a pair of periscope telephoto cameras. Leaks suggest that the X7 Pro could be equipped with one of the most powerful camera setups seen on a smartphone. It is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. In addition, it is also said to have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom.
For the primary camera, the Find X7 Pro is said to be equipped with a modified version of the existing one-inch Sony IMX989 camera sensor. The said lens is likely to be marketed as the 50-megapixel LYT-900 camera sensor. The camera setup is also expected to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper.
Under the hood, the Find X7 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device is said to debut along with the Find X7 in late January or early February in China.
