At the beginning of this year, Oppo unveiled the Find X7 series of smartphones in China. In May, Oppo officially announced the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. It is speculated that the Find X8 lineup will be announced by early 2025, whereas the Reno 13 series may go official before the end of this year. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the battery specifications of the Find X8, X8 Pro, X8 Ultra, Reno 13, and Reno 13 Pro.
DCS’ latest leaks suggest that Oppo has successfully mass-produced 100-watt silicon batteries. The upcoming Find X8 series and the Reno 13 series will utilize these batteries. As per reports, the X8 lineup may include the Find X8 and X8 Pro, both featuring the Dimensity 9400 chipset. These devices are expected to launch in October or November of this year.
The new leak suggests that the Find X8 and X8 Pro may come equipped with 5,440mAh to 5,600mAh, and 5,540mAh to 5,700mAh batteries, respectively. On the other hand, the Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, may pack a 6,000mAh to 6,200mAh battery. The Find X8 Ultra is expected to launch in January 2025.
The leak suggests that the Find X8 series may utilize dual-cell batteries, whereas the Reno 13 lineup will have single-cell batteries. It appears that the Reno 13 and 13 Pro will respectively pack single-cell batteries with capacities ranging from approximately 5,490mAh to 5,600mAh, whereas 5,770mAh to 5,900mAh. There is a possibility that the Reno 13 series may go official in November of this year.
