The upcoming Oppo Find X8 series of smartphones is expected to include the Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra. The X8 and X8 Pro may launch in October, whereas the Ultra model may debut in January 2025. The X8 series’ battery size and charging capacity were recently revealed by reliable leaker Digital Chat Station. He is now back with the X8 series’ display specifications.
As per the leak, the Find X8 will have a flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. It appears that the X8 Pro and X8 Ultra will have 2K resolution OLED panels with micro curvature on all four sides. Unfortunately, the leaker did not mention the screen size of the X8 series.
The leaker said that the prototypes of the X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra feature display panels from China-based TM (Tianma) and BOE display manufacturers. According to the leaker, the X8 Ultra will feature BOE’s 2K 8T LTPO screen, boasting significant improvements in areas such as screen quality, brightness, and dimming. In addition, it will offer super-slim bezels.
As per a previous leak by DCS, the Find X8 and X8 Pro will have 5,600mAh and 5,700mAh batteries, respectively. The Ultra variant may pack a 6,100mAh or 6,200mAh battery. Reports suggest that the Ultra model will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and support two-way satellite communication.
When DCS was asked about notable differences between the Find X8 and X8 Pro, he replied that the Pro variant has dual periscope telephoto cameras, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a larger battery.
