Oppo has recently launched the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro equipped with Dimensity 9400-powered chipsets in China. According to reports, the brand will announce the Reno 13 series of smartphones in November in the home market. In the first quarter of 2025, the company is expected to unveil the Find X8 Ultra and the Find N5 foldable phone. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the key specification of the Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to debut in January 2025 in China.

As per the leak, the Find X8 Ultra’s engineering prototype will come equipped with the SM8750, which is nothing but the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The rear camera setup will consist of four 50-megapixel cameras.
The primary snapper will be a one-inch camera sensor. An ultra-wide lens, a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom will join it.
The leak also reveals a slight modification to the Find X8 Ultra’s telephoto camera’s native focal length. Additionally, the device will offer support for up to 10x hybrid zoom.
According to other leaks, the Find X8 Ultra will come with a new OLED panel that supports a 2K resolution. Like the Find X8 and X8 Pro, the X8 Ultra is expected to sport a micro-quad-curved display design.
In all likelihood, it will feature the Find X8 Ultra and have the same 6.82-inch OLED panel that will be seen on the OnePlus 13. Additionally, the phone is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Find X8 Ultra is also expected to house a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity with 100W wired charging. Like the X8 models, the Ultra variant is also expected to support 50W magnetic wireless charging.
