Oppo Find-series Product Manager Zhou Yibao has started teasing the arrival of the Oppo Find X8s smartphone. His latest Weibo post not only confirms the moniker of the device but also gives the first look at its marvellous display design. In the image below, he has compared the Find X8S with the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Oppo Find X8S display design revealed
According to Yibao, Oppo has achieved the world’s narrowest quad-edge bezels, surpassing all Android and iOS competitors. He added that thanks to the company’s self-developed new-generation chip-level screen encapsulation technology, the Find X8s is equipped with just 1.xmm ultra-thin bezels. A previous leak claimed that the bezels measure under 1.38mm.

As per reports, the Oppo Find X8s is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, making it one of the most compact premium smartphones on the market. With a thickness of under 8.15mm, likely around 7.xx mm, and a weight of less than 187 grams, it aims to be the thinnest and lightest in its category.
Under the hood, the Oppo Find X8S is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which features a high-performance Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.7GHz. The chipset is expected to debut on April 11. It will be accompanied by a 5,700mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Reports have revealed that the Find X8S’ rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom. It is also expected to support the new push-type Magic Cube hardware key instead of an Alert Slider.
The Find X8s will be unveiled along with the Find X8S+ and Find X8S Ultra in April in China. The same event will see the arrival of other devices, such as the Watch X2 Mini, Pad 4 Pro tablet, and Enco Free 4 TWS earbuds.
