In October, Oppo will announce the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro flagship phones in China. Therefore, the company is expected to tease key details about both phones ahead of launch. Today, Oppo Product Manager Zhou Yibao released images revealing the thickness of the two smartphones.
Oppo Find X9 series to feature slim profile despite bigger batteries

As shown in the images shared by Yibao, the Find X9 and X9 Pro measure 7.99mm and 8.25mm, respectively. While the thickness of these devices is almost the same as their predecessors, they are confirmed to include larger batteries.

To recall, the Find X8 came with a 5,630mAh battery inside a 7.85mm slim body, while the Find X8+ packed a 6,000mAh battery in a 7.95mm profile. The Find X8 Pro featured an 8.24mm body with a 5,910mAh battery.
Yibao revealed that the Find X9’s battery will be around 1,000mAh larger than that of the Find X8 and X8+. Meanwhile, the Find X9 Pro’s battery will be 1,500mAh larger compared to the X8 Pro. Reports indicate that the Find X9 will feature a 7,025mAh battery, whereas the X9 Pro may house a 7,550mAh battery. Both models are expected to support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Like the upcoming Vivo X300 series, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are expected to feature the all-new Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is rumoured to debut on September 22. The Find X9 will reportedly feature a 6.59-inch display, while the X9 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch display, similar to the previous generation.
The major camera change expected for the Find X9 Pro is the removal of dual 50-megapixel periscope cameras seen on the X8 Pro. Instead, it is tipped to feature a single 200-megapixel periscope camera.
