This year, Oppo held a launch event in April to announce the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s Plus, and Find X8s. It is speculated that the successor editions of these phones may debut around the same time in 2026. Well ahead of the launch, an Oppo executive has given out a clue about the Find X9 Ultra’s battery size.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra battery size officially teased
On Weibo, the Oppo Find series product manager Zhou Yibao recently responded to a question on Weibo regarding the Find X9 Ultra’s battery capacity. Instead of revealing a number, he described the battery as “unprecedentedly powerful,” later clarifying in a separate post that its capacity is well above 7,000mAh.
This follows Oppo’s earlier statement at the Find X9 series launch, where the company emphasised that no flagship would arrive without a battery of at least 7,000mAh. The Find X9 Pro has a 7,500mAh battery, and the upcoming Find X9s compact phone is said to house a 7,000mAh battery; therefore, it would be interesting to see what X9 Ultra’s battery would be.
Tipster Smart Pikachu previously claimed that the device would surpass Ultra-branded phones from rivalling brands. Since the launch is a couple of months away, the brand is expected to reveal the official details about the X9 Ultra in Q1 2026.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra specifications (rumored)
According to reports, the Find X9 Ultra is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The camera setup is expected to include a 200-megapixel Sony IMX09E main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lenses.
The Find X9 Ultra may also arrive with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and Android 16 with a layer of ColorOS 16 on top. While previous Find X-series Ultra phones have remained exclusive to the Chinese market, the X9 Ultra is expected to release globally.
