Oppo is reportedly working on the Find X9 series of smartphones for China. It is speculated that the Find X9, X9+, and X9 Pro, equipped with the Dimensity 9500, will debut in October of this year. On the other hand, the Find X9 Ultra, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, may launch in Q1 2026. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has seemingly revealed the X9 Ultra’s camera specifications.

The emoji and the SM8850 model number included in the above leak suggest that the tipster could be talking about the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to launch next year.
The leak states that the Find X9 Ultra’s engineering prototype is equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera backed by a large sensor. It is joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a large sensor and macro shooting capabilities, and a 50-megapixel super periscope telephoto camera, which, according to one of his previous leaks, will offer 10x optical zoom.
According to other reports, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to run on ColorOS 16-based Android 15. DCS has claimed in a recent Weibo post that the ColorOS 16 will be unveiled in Q3 this year.
At present, there is no information about the Find X9 Ultra’s battery. More details of the device are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
