Oppo’s product manager Zhou Yibao has released a new Weibo post to give the first look at the Find X9. Apart from sharing the images of the device, he revealed that Oppo is continuing its effort to refine display borders, with the next-generation model expected to feature one of the thinnest physical bezels in the industry.
Oppo Find X9’s front design

In the previous generation, the Oppo Find X8s achieved 1.25 mm bezels, even slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 1.34 mm borders. Now, the Find X9 is tipped to push this boundary further, setting a new record for the narrowest physical four-sided equal bezels. Shared images reveal a direct comparison between the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the Find X8s, and the Find X9, with Oppo’s latest model clearly edging towards an unprecedentedly slim profile.
The company has consistently refined bezel technology across three generations: Find X8, Find X8s, and now Find X9. He added that Oppo’s billion-yuan investment in self-developed display production lines is showing results, enabling innovations such as golden rounded corners and carefully balanced dimensions. With the Find X9 marking Oppo’s 30th anniversary, the brand is positioning the Find X9 as a significant design milestone.

Leaks suggest the Oppo Find X9 will include a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution, Dimensity 9500 chipset, 7000mAh battery, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera setup is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor with optical stabilization, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50-megapixel front camera.
The Find X9 series is expected to debut next month (October) in China.
