OPPO is reported working on the OPPO K12 smartphone for the Chinese market. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the K12 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Today, he published a new Weibo post to confirm the other specs of the device. Here’s a look at what to expect from the K12.
OPPO K12 specifications (rumored)
According to the leaker, the OPPO K12 will come equipped with a 6.7-inch display. The leaker has not mentioned anything about the screen resolution and its refresh rate. The K11, which debuted in July 2023, came equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Likely, the K12 may offer the same display specifications.
Under the hood, the OPPO K12 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It appears that the highest variant of the device will offer 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in storage. To recall, the K11 came with a Snapdragon 782G chip, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB / 512 GB of storage.
The leak has no information on the battery size and charging capabilities of the K12. In all likelihood, the device will run on ColorOS 14-based Android 14.
When it comes to photography, the K12 is rumored to sport a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Given that the K11 also features these same cameras, it remains to be seen whether the K12 will be equipped with different camera sensors despite having the same megapixel count.
