In May, OPPO had launched the OPPO K3 smartphone in China. The Snapdragon 710 chipset powered smartphone features a notch-less screen and a pop-up selfie camera. The 6 GB RAM versions of the smartphone have been available for purchase since the beginning of this month. Starting from today, OPPO has started the sales of the 8 GB RAM variant of the smartphone.
The OPPO K3 was introduced in three models such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage with respective pricings of 1,599 Yuan, 1,899 Yuan and 2,299 Yuan. At the launch event, the Chinese firm had claimed that both 6 GB RAM editions of the OPPO K3 will hit the Chinese markets from June 1 and the 8 GB RAM model will be available at sometime later in the same month. As the above poster shows, the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of OPPO K3 is available for buying in China from today. The handset comes in color options like Nebula Purple, Morning White and Farm Black.
The OPPO K3 has a 6.5-inch OLED screen with in-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone includes a 3,765mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. The ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the device. It is equipped with a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera and a rear-facing 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup.
