On Oct. 10, OPPO will be debuting the OPPO Reno Ace flagship phone. Recent reports have suggested that the company may launch multiple phones on the same date. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it will be announcing the OPPO K5 smartphone alongside the Reno Ace. The smartphone is now up for reservations on Jingdong Mall.
The above poster shows that the OPPO K5 will come equipped with 64-megapixel quad camera system that will include an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. The handset can be seen in gradient color options like green, white and blue.
Previous reports have revealed that it will be the first OPPO phone to come equipped with VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology that can charge device at 30W. Like the predecessor model, it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO K5’s TENAA listing has revealed that it will come with a waterdrop notch enabled display of 6.4 inches that offers full HD+ resolution. It is expected to be fueled by Snapdragon 730G and 8 GB of RAM. It will have an internal storage of 128 GB. The handset will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery.
For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front camera and on it has a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. It appears like a rebranded version of Realme X2. The Chinese manufacturer is also expected to debut OPPO Reno2 F smartphone on the Oct. 10.
