The OPPO K5 is the first phone from the company to arrive with VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology. The OPPO K5 is a glass bodied smartphone that comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 730G processor is the driving force of the smartphone. It is assisted by up to 8 Gb of RAM. For storage, the device features an internal storage up to 256 GB and it has a microSD card slot for more storage.
The ColorOS 6.1 based Android 9 Pie is found on the device. It has a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system on its rear. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone support 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology.

The OPPO K5 variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 Gb storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage models are respectively priced at 1,899 Yuan ($267), 2,099 Yuan ($295) and 2,499 Yuan ($351). Cyber Metal, Fantasy Forest and Polar Sunshine are the three color options of the OPPO K5. For the first sale, the company has slashed the prices of the starting two variants of the smartphone by 100 Yuan.
