OPPO K7x launched with Dimensity 720 SoC, 48MP Quad cameras & 30W fast-charging

OPPO has officially announced a new mid-ranger smartphone in the Chinese market known as the OPPO K7x. This device will be targeted towards the budget 5G segment which is currently swarmed by devices from Realme, Vivo, Huawei and Honor.

The OPPO K7x is built around a 6.5-inches FHD+ LCD display that offers a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. It has a typical hole-punch design at the front that houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

At the back, it arrives with a rectangular camera housing that features a quad camera system consisting of a 48 megapixels (f/1.7 aperture) primary shooter, 8 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera, as well as 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) portrait lens.

Under the hood, the OPPO K7x is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset that offers 5G support in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. It also has up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep its lights on, the OPPO K7x is equipped with a massive 5,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC fast-charging support. Other than that, the device also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For those who’re interested, the OPPO K7x is available in both Blue and Black color options. It will be priced at 1,499 Yuan (US$224) and 1,999 Yuan (US$298) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
