Following up the launch of the OPPO K9 back in May this year, OPPO will be back with a beefed up model known as the OPPO K9 Pro on September 26th. Ahead of it’s launch, the company has shed some lights on some of it’s key specs that give us a good idea on what to expect from the upcoming handset.
According to the new teasers released by the company, the OPPO K9 Pro will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset just like the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G (Review). This is expected to be paired with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB storage according to what we learned from it’s TENAA listing.
Although the teasers didn’t mention anything the display size of the OPPO K9 Pro, but we’d already learned previously that it’ll be a 6.43” AMOLED display. What the teasers did reveal is that the display will offer an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, as well as HDR10 support.
To deliver a smooth and immersive entertainment experience, the OPPO K9 Pro had also been confirmed to feature an advance cooling system as well as a 4D haptic feedback system.
In terms of photography, the OPPO K9 Pro’s triple-cam system will be lead by a 64 megapixels main camera, which is likely to be accompanied by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and 2 megapixels macro camera to help with close-up shots. Last but not the least, the OPPO also confirmed that the phone will be equipped with a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 60W fast-charging support.
